In this two day and one night tour, we will follow in Lincoln’s footsteps from the time he arrived in Gettysburg to the time he gave the Gettysburg address. We will visit the train station he arrived at, the house he stayed at the night before he gave the Gettysburg address and we will walk from the house he stayed at to the Evergreen Cemetery where he gave the Gettysburg Address. This walk will take us through the historic town of Gettysburg, during which time we will learn about the impact that the battle of Gettysburg had on the town and its people. We will learn about how the Bible influenced Lincoln’s life as a man and also as president. We will also learn about how the Gospel influenced the Gettysburg Address.
